SubscribeSeveral months after a major merger and structural shake-up, the Self-managed Independent Superannuation Funds Association (SISFA) has announced high-level leadership changes.
Managing director Mike Goodall will hand over the reins of managing director to one of the founding directors of SISFA, Michael Lorimer, after just over two years in the role. Mr Goodall will continue on the board.
Mr Lorimer was chair of SISFA between 1999 and 2015 and has a professional background in the wealth managment industry. His positions have included director at MGD Wealth and director of administration and technical services at Triple A Super.
Separate to his role at SISFA, chairperson Chris Balalovski has joined as partner in mid-tier accounting firm BDO’s Sydney office, following two and a half years at EY.
Mr Goodall was part of the executive team that saw SISFA merge with the trustee-focused SMSF Owners’ Alliance group in May this year.
