One of the major SMSF software firms has announced new integrations with SMSF document supplier Smarter SMSF and administration and compliance management tool AccountKit.

BGL has announced a new integration with Smarter SMSF which will enable CAS 360 and Simple Fund 360 clients to purchase Smarter SMSF documents from within their BGL software.

While BGL chief executive Ron Lesh said that Smarter SMSF has been part of the BGL ecosystem for a long time now, the new service will enable BGL users to subscribe with Smarter SMSF for a document bundle based on their needs.

In Simple Fund 360, users can purchase a number of Smarter SMSF documents throughout Simple Fund 360 without leaving the software, BGL explained.

Fund data will populate Smarter SMSF documents, which will then be created and automatically loaded into Simple Fund 360.

In CAS 360, users are able to register a company and get a Smarter SMSF company constitution or trust deed without leaving the CAS 360 company registration screen. Documents can also be purchased from other appropriate places in CAS 360 and all documents are automatically loaded into the software.

Mr Lesh said that AccountKit helps automate day-to-day compliance and administrative tasks for cloud-based accounting firms.

BGL said the new integration allows firms using AccountKit to see CAS 360 company Annual Review status, document deadlines, ASIC company debt list and documents awaiting lodgement in ASIC in CAS 360 from inside AccountKit.

Additionally, users will now be able to bring up clients’ records showing data across XPM, AccountKit, CAS 360 and Simple Fund 360.

“We are a strong advocate of developing ecosystems partnerships that establish a better way for our clients to work with their clients. Partnering with AccountKit is an example of two leading technology providers collaborating for the benefit of both our clients,” Mr Lesh said.
