Audit software firm launches new features for SMSF accountants
SMSF audit software firm Cloudoffis has launched a new platform for accountants to assist with the preparation, organisation and review of SMSF documents in the audit process.
Cloudoffis has developed a new solution for accountants to enable them to prepare, review and transfer documents more efficiently, called SMSF Sorted.
SMSF Sorted is with major SMSF administration software providers, including Class and BGL Simple Fund 360, and enables accountants to automatically import data, mark-up and reference documentation, and transmit work to the auditor.
The platform enables SMSF professionals to have security over what is shared and uses best practice encryption to prevent hackers.
Cloudoffis co-founder Viral Kanabar said accountants can often lose a lot of productive hours finding and coordinating paperwork and communicating with auditors and clients.
“SMSF Sorted solves that problem by automating the preparation and review whilst keeping everything in the cloud and in easy-to-find files,” Mr Kanabar explained.
With constant legislative changes and the growth of necessary paperwork, the problem of keeping SMSF documents in order in accordance with the law is only getting more difficult, Mr Kanabar said.
“Let’s face it, most laws only make things more complicated, not less. We will continue to enhance Cloudoffis to meet those needs,” he said.
