ATO flags scheduled maintenance for SMSF services
The ATO has advised SMSFs and other super funds that a number of systems used by SMSFs will be unavailable during its annual closedown period.
In an online update, the ATO said it would be undertaking scheduled maintenance on a number of its systems over its annual closedown period from midday Friday, 24 December 2021, until it reopens on Tuesday, 4 January 2022.
During this period, the ATO said a number of systems would be unavailable, including SuperTICK, SMSF verification service, SMSFMemberTICK, SuperMatch, Fund validation service and small business superannuation clearing house.
“These systems will be unavailable from 11.30pm AEDT Monday, 27 December 2021 to 7.00am AEDT Tuesday, 4 January 2022,” said the Tax Office.
During this period, the ATO stated that batch bulk request processor services would be available on Member Account Attribute Service (MAAS) and Member Account Transaction Service (MATS).
“Batches submitted through these services will still be accepted by the ATO during the maintenance period. If maintenance is completed earlier than scheduled, system status information will be available through the Superannuation dashboard,” the ATO said.
