SuperConcepts reaches first milestone with onboarding process

Following the launch of its new software platform, SuperMate, in February, SuperConcepts has now onboarded 1,500 funds.

In February this year, SuperConcepts launched a new version of SuperMate comprising improved data feeds, foreign assets processing, advanced property processing, document recognition and data extraction.

SuperConcepts chief technology officer Andy Forbes said the onboarding process was a big focus during the development of the new software, with migration traditionally a painful disruption to administration firms that are already managing challenging workloads.

The SMSF software provider created a migration concierge team to help make the transfer of SMSFs onto the new platform a smoother process.

SuperConcepts has now reached its first milestone with the new iteration of SuperMate, having onboarded the first 1,500 funds onto the platform.

It is currently in the process of onboarding another 2,000 new funds over the coming few weeks from committed sales.

“We’re very confident in our ability to deliver a fast transition to SuperMate, so much so that we’re looking at how we can implement a guarantee scheme to this effect,” said Mr Forbes.

Speaking previously about the launch of the new software, Mr Forbes said the new platform had met accountant demands for improved automation, extended asset support, streamlined design and practice efficiency.

“Whilst SuperMate Classic is a powerful administration system, we knew we could improve and streamline it if we moved to a web-based interface – and that’s exactly what we’ve done,” said Mr Forbes.
