With the federal budget now handed down, hosts Miranda Brownlee and Aaron Dunn discuss the measures impacting superannuation, what was missing from the budget this year, and the government’s plans for the SMSF sector in the near future.

While SMSFs emerged unscathed from the budget this year, they outline why there could still be major changes to superannuation tax and retirement income further on the horizon, with the government yet to respond to the Retirement Income Review.

They also provide an update on some of the recent announcements from regulators and recent appointments in the industry.
